I would advise that you avoid editing the “Child Theme” since this can be done easily using custom CSS and with this option a shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/e651ti . Could you share the URL of the page in question and I’ll provide you to the custom CSS to do this?

Have you tried removing the “Search Widget” from the Widgets page? It should be inside “GD Listing Top Section” . If that doesn’t work, use the custom CSS code below.
