Hi Mark,
You’ll have to create a new menu item named “Around Me” that links directly to your listing in your WP dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Primary menu. Then assign it as the primary menu in GD > Design > Navigation and untick “Show listings navigation in menu” https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation . Well, give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi there,

Hi Craig,
Do you mind sharing the URL of the site in question so we can take a look? If you’re using the Supreme Directory child theme, most of it can be removed using custom CSS https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/ . You can also go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Widget and check the GD > Detail Sidebar and see if there’s any widget that can be removed.
Thanks!
Hi Roman,

Hi Andi,
The credentials are not working for me. Could you please reset it again?
Thanks!
Hi Andi,
You have to insert the widget into the Event Details page sidebar. If it still doesn’t work, do you think you can share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Hi Andi,
Sorry, I mean the “Whoop > Popular & Latest Events” Widget is only available in Whoop theme. Also, could you try using “GD > Popular Post View” widget and sort by “Latest” as it should allow you to display the latest listing?
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi Andi,
Sorry my mistake, that widget is only available in Whoop theme. To increase that counter, you’ll have to insert the “Whoop > Are you interested?” widget into the event sidebar and let the users signup. It should look like this http://prntscr.com/co3i55 . Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi Andi,
#1 You can use the GD > Related Listing widget and sort by “Latest”
#2 I don’t think we have a “Popular Events” widget, is it from a third party plugin? Or are you referring to the “GD > Event Listing” widget?
Thanks!
Hi Cory,
I believe my colleague has answered your question in this thread https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/site-footer-missing-from-places-and-events/
Thanks!
Hi Alistair,
I’d like you to know that all markers will be displayed on Google map and if you would like to hide some of it from the map, go to GD > Design > Map > use the option below “SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP”
Thanks!
Hi Clinton,

Hi Thomas,
You can disable the map option of a listing to be set as per user’s choice, by selecting NO at GD > Place settings > custom fields > address > Use user zoom level. http://prntscr.com/cntjrd
Thanks!
Hi Paul,
Could you please tell us a little bit more about what you’re trying to achieve with the Woocommerce plugin and GD? How do you want to display the products? Or something more?
Thanks!
Hi Askhay,
I’d like you to know that GD comes with some basic SEO settings and if you need more advanced SEO features, get a 3rd party SEO plugin such as Yoast. It’s free 🙂
Thanks!
