Let me try to explain this to you accordingly.
1. It is not compulsory to have the GD home page in order for the plugin to work. But it’s required if you’re using our themes.
2. Yes, that’s correct, you can hyperlink your navigation menu to point to it
3. Yes, just create an empty page and link it accordingly in GD > Permalinks > Geodirectory Pages
