August 29, 2019 at 2:11 pm in reply to: How can I reset the search filter when changing languages? #505547
WPML proposed the following solution: separate translations at /search/ pages. Then the site will translate the user to the home page of the secondary language when changing the language. This would be fine for me, but it turned out that this solution works only if the GeoDirectory Multilingual plugin is disabled. 🙁
You can see this now.
I also found out that the “Full wight” template does not work for untranslated Search pages.
The sidebar should be at a distance from the main field, as on the screenshot 2019-08-28_211335.jpg
I know this can be fixed with the #gd-sidebar-wrapper.
margin-left:3%;} but I don’t understand why this code is off.I have shown on the screenshot 2019-08-28_211645.jpg that the sidebar should stand a little to the right.

August 28, 2019 at 5:43 pm in reply to: The location does not find the region when creating the listing. #505384I’m reporting more cities where no region has been found:
Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan
Helsinki, Finland
Athens, GreeceAugust 28, 2019 at 12:14 pm in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505338Okay, I look forward to it.
August 28, 2019 at 11:43 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505333More specifically, gd_categories should filter for near/me, and show the categories that are present in the listings with the requested location.
Can I get an approximate timeline for changes? 1 week, 1 month or more? It really affects what I do next: delay the launch of the site or look for other options for navigation and site design.
August 28, 2019 at 11:05 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505316Will you be able to fix this bug before a new version is released? It determines my time of launching the site. When I bought the license, I expected that there would be no such errors:(
August 28, 2019 at 11:02 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505313This is a very important problem for visitors to the site. They will search for the location they need, but will get a large list of category buttons, where there will be no information corresponding to their search query.
August 28, 2019 at 10:52 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505312It turns out that the location, which is not yet recorded in the database – will give the result near and a list of category buttons of all locations that exist in the database. I think this is an error.
August 28, 2019 at 10:46 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505311Regarding the first answer. “GD > Settings > Locations tab > Show Advanced > Enable location search autocompleter? > NO” applied only to the search filter field, but not to the Location Switcher. If you want to find Paris in the Location Switcher at https://dev.verni.com.ua/ (but there are no listings in Paris), the location switch will prompt you to select “Near: Paris, France”. If the user does this, he will get a page with an empty map, but with a large list of category buttons that are not Parisian 🙁 https://dev.verni.com.ua/location/near/gps/48.856614,2.3522219000000177/.
However, your second answer does not help either. [gd_categories hide_empty=”1″] does not show categories with a number of listings of “0”, but shows everything that does not apply to Paris.
August 28, 2019 at 8:41 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505290And I also thought it would be possible not to show a block of category buttons if there are no listings for this type of listing for this location on the page. Is this difficult to do?
August 28, 2019 at 7:01 am in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505281No, that’s not what I meant. Please look at the screenshot.
The search field should be left to allow them to find locations for listings that are available on the site, but they should be prohibited from finding locations near something and “My location”
This should be done on the location switcher.
