Bingo!!!!!!! give that man a extra beer.
That solved this issue. Do I need to reconnect jetpack or leave it disconnected?
Many thanks!!!!
Paolo:
Thank you for checking……I deactivated jetpack, logged out, closed the browser window, opened new browser, typed in domain name, when it loaded scrolled to bottom, created new account, then filled in details for new event. Double checked address against lat-long, both correct, all other data accurate.
Nothing happened. Tried several times without success. The problem still exists, don’t know why though.
Thanks

Thank you, that solved that situation nicely. As a guest when I set up an account to list either a place or event and fill out all lines correctly, I am sent to a page where I fill out the details of the place or event. I have tried adding both (Event and Place), double checked all lines, verified the address and zip code, filled in all blanks and checked accept T&C then hit preview and nothing happens, I can hit it 10 times and the page stares at me.Any suggestions?
thanks again
Paolo:
Thank you for the tip. I implemented your suggestion and while I no longer receive the error message, when clicking the token button, the page reloads and reopens in a new tab that is a duplicate of the already open tab. If this is what is supposed to occur, then this thread can be closed, if not what else would you suggest.Apparently there are 3 options to enter a place or event successfully:
1) Enter all data manually
2) Using social importer copy & paste from Facebook
3) Using social importer copy & paste from Yelp
4) Use a combination of the aboveWould you concur this a true statement?
Thank you

As requested here is a screen shot, thanks for the reply on YELP.I noted the “post-to-page” line is still “disabled” unlike the example in Stiofan’s demo. Does this change when this FB token operates as designed?
Thanks againHi Paolo:
Good idea! When I checked the box it was empty, so I added the URL, saved, returned to Dashboard> GD>social importer, clicked on refresh access token and apparently nothing happened. I still receive the same error box message with the same message.
I noted the “post-to-page” line is still “disabled” unlike the example in Stiofan’s demo. Does the YELP import work in the same way as FB, as I am not seeing any activity there also.
Thanks again for the idea.Hi Stiofan:
Yes, I am the admin for the FB page where I upgraded to a developer acct. Tried your suggestion without any results as you can see. Was able to get the FB importer working by switching to another theme to find the “Add listing” page. Can’t find it in the GD child theme. If you look at the attached image, there seems to be another issue in the message box.
Also where and how does the YELP option function, can’t find any hints in your videos, unless I missed something.Typical of FB they move menus around frequently, so your line: (facebook>Settings>Apps>Remove) seems to have been moved again.
Thanks
Stiofan:
Thanks for looking, I will dig deeper and see what I can ferret out of this situation. Thanks again
Hi Stiofan:
Can’t explain who, what, when, where or why, but it seems to be working again. Possibly some adjust you made?Looks great.
Thanks for looking!
Guust:
I think that fixed it. I will also investigate the caching issue further. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you for your help
Guust:
That is exactly what I was looking for. Solved that problem and a couple of others simultaneously.
Thank you!
Paolo:
Excellent!Thank you for the suggestion and observations, I’ve been experimenting and there are still some minor issues with the CSV file, they are manageable. I’ve downloaded and uploaded several times and each one seems to improve the situation and the pages are starting to shape up.
Thanks again!
