Ok had a further chat with the client and they think that Sagepay & the directory aren’t talking to each other.
I haven’t had any renewal success emails – I think the issue may be that Sagepay In the Directory aren’t talking to each other – e.g. Cally Edwards has paid £25 in the past week or so on Sagepay (we’ve received that in the account) but it isn’t showing up on the Directory, so her profile has gone in to Draft saying payment is overdue.
Can you look in to that side of things?

Is SparkPost something that would plug into wp-geodirectory and send emails? I can’t see any settings in geodirectory where this would go?

It says in WordPress Updates that everything is up to date. Or am I missing something?
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Stiofan, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The name & email in general are set as the domain the site is hosted on.
My web host has come back to me with a spam report.
- 0.8 PHP_MAILER No description available.
- 0.8 HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS From and EnvelopeFrom 2nd level mail domains are different
- -0.0 RP_MATCHES_RCVD Envelope sender domain matches handover relay domain
- 0.3 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message
- 0.7 MIME_HTML_ONLY BODY: Message only has text/html MIME parts
- 2.0 BAYES_50 BODY: Bayes spam probability is 40 to 60% [score: 0.4385]
- 0.4 HTML_MIME_NO_HTML_TAG HTML-only message, but there is no HTML tag
- 2.1 FREEMAIL_FORGED_REPLYTO Freemail in Reply-To, but not From
- 1.0 TO_NO_BRKTS_HTML_ONLY To: lacks brackets and HTML only
But the main one is that the email forges the sender address ( to be the user)
There’s no plain test part, so it gets a score for that
Also the to address should be wrapped in <>
All those push the score (8,1) up to above the SPAM threshold (which is 6.2)Can you let me know where the sender address is set so I can at least change this stuff?
Yes it is.
Hello. Sorry to revisit an old thread but I am trying to do this in reverse, so that I can back up and update plugins locally. Following your instructions Paolo…
1) Backup all files and transfer to new server
2) Export the db to transfer
3) Import it in the new database
4) Upload this scirpt via FTP in the root of your website (where wp-admin, wp-content and wp-includes folders are)
5) Run the script to find and replace the old domain with the new domain. When I get to step 3 I get an error message saying
Error
SQL query:
INSERT INTO wp_geodir_attachments VALUES(“”,””,””,””,””,””,””,””,””,””,””,””);MySQL said: Documentation
#1062 – Duplicate entry ‘0’ for key ‘PRIMARY’
Any ideas?
Thanks Paolo. I’ll just apply the fix for now. Cheers 🙂
Wonderful! 🙂
Thanks Guust!
