Another question… currently when a user adds a new listings from the homepage, it seems to only go to a specific CPT and shows the categories for that CPT. However we need to allow the users to see all CPT to select one instead of a category. Any suggestions??

Hi Guys,

OK, next question… We’ve had a look through how we can achieve what i’m about to ask you, but once again we seem to fumbling around GEODIRECTORY until we stumble across the solutions, which you may be able to give us straight away.

As you can prob already see, we are setting up a kind of ‘everything pet’ style directory website from Pet Shops to Vets to where to find Kennels near you etc etc.

The listings themselves will be mostly free for people to submit to the site but some will be paid for listing… of which the paid for ones will carry more features (ie.. images, more amount of text etc) than just the free listings which will be limited on features (ie. no pics, limited text etc). So our question & the trouble we’re having is basically setting that up…! So, setting up the different level of packages available to end user submitting a listing.

Is there any links you can point us to or videos clearly explaining this process?

Another quick prob…

when we do a search, like choose pet shops on dropdown and put in location for Torbay… i
a little error message pops up only for a split second (see attached) and then it seems to work just after.

Can you assist?? You still have login details for this one..

I see the problem we’re having…

basically want the dropdown on the left & choose pet shops … then clicking search to react the same way as the way ‘pet shops’ button in that narrow menu just under the map reacts.

If you use the dropdown it comes up with the listing ok (which is ‘testing123’)… but doesnt show it on the map correctly? It just shows all the random places we have in there at moment (4 place i think).

If you click pet shops on that narrow menu just under the map… it shows up the pet shops (testing123) on the map all cool and ok…

Hope that makes sense…
