Simone, thank you very much. I must apologize for my communication yesterday, I was on the road most of the day and quickly checking the forum as I could.

I think I figured out what you were suggesting… Make a new page and hardcode the links to specific CPTs for listing entries, correct?

I am guessing… yes, it’s a guess, that one of the radio buttons needs to be checked for the code you did to work?

    Thanks again,
    Micki

Purple edge, Oh, I am so sorry, I didn’t even notice that the Event cpt was not showing! I’ve been researching so much lately that my eyes are crossing! Thank you for working on this!

Is the reason the gd_places, gd_places_to_eat, etc. are showing because of the need for .css formatting?

Simone, did I lose you with my last attempt to explain :)? I am happy to use what you came up with, I can just add directions for folks above the radio buttons… I am not trying to drive anyone too crazy!

Thank you both again! I cannot help but think someone else might like their Add Listing page to be all inclusive??

Hi Purpleedge, I tried your code, THANKS for your help! Screenshot is what it does. Shows the same on the Add Events page.

Thank you, I just figured this out when I checked different radio buttons to show which CPT to add listing to… guess it’s better not to have one checked when one first goes to the page… Humm, something else to figure out :).

    Guess this is resolved!

Thank you for the quick response! All of my CPTs have been in place for a while and the title was reading Add Listings. Is there a way to force it to default to say “Add Listings” instead of the numerous CPTs that will soon be created?

And then the ? arises, why aren’t the other CPTs showing in the title?

    Thanks again!

Hi Simone, yes, pretty much, EXCEPT I do NOT want the Events as an option on the Add Listing page. Screenshot attached.

Hi Purpleedge, attached is the .txt file.

And this is a new one… where the header used to say ‘Add Listing’, now it is reading “Add Marketplace”, which is what i changed the default places to but I cannot figure out why it is now reading “Add Marketplace”!!! I’ve tried so many varied settings, I can’t seem to figure out how to change this back!

    Thank you both very much!

Are you sure it’s not a .css thing? My location changer looks like that, but it is all there, just can’t see the links unless I run the curser over it, it’s a .css thing, haven’t messed with it yet.

Humm, I get a little confused in the Navigation area when it comes to the post type navigation settings :). Probably because I have my Add Listing Link in a secondary menu. There is no option for this for the CPTs, as far as I can tell.

Just seems to me that it should be easy to have all of the CPT options available on the add listing page, and not have to have a drop down of separate CPTs, but then sometimes I think different than others :).

Thank you so much for the suggestion, I really appreciate your help. Unfortunately it is not excluding the event option.
