Hi, I just tried this code, as I am looking for the same thing. On login, using bp login/logout links in menu, it still goes to default wp-login. thank you
edited: but if I type in …/wp-login.php as url it redirects to gd-login, which is a good thing 🙂
Thanks for the reply Guust, but the original question/issue with using bp login and logout links is that the login takes one to the default wp login page and I don’t want that :).
Thanks for taking the time to come up with something. My concern with this plugin is that it has not been updated for a year, and I so dislike using plugins that are so out of date :).
I’m getting a bit closer but am having to use the words Login/Logout in menu versus it dynamically changing if user is logged in or out…
Has anyone heard of a way to keep the list of bp members from being accessible to those not logged in?
Also, any other membership/community plugins that play nice with GD besides bp? I read a few threads on here about Ultimate Member but nothing recently discussed.
Thanks again!

July 6, 2016 at 11:55 pm in reply to: default wp login page when clicking on login link – bp #222990Ok, bear with me. I did not want to install, yet another, plugin, but after many attempts at trying to do what I’m trying to do :), I installed Theme My Login. So, by default, by adding TML log in and logout links to menu, it is working! Sends logged in subscriber to their profile page, sends admin to backend. Gives a logout link for those logged in. My questions now:
Because I now have 3 different login pages (GD, Buddypress and TML), can I delete the GD and Buddypress login pages without screwing anything up? I have an issue with clutter :).
Also, I’m wanting to have it so those NOT logged in cannot see the BP members page (as in the list of members). I’ve been searching at buddypress.org and found a script to add but I believe it will hide all activity, which I take to mean it will hide GD listings by members. I see nothing written there about GD and buddypress specifically. Is there a way for me to hide the members page from those not logged in?
Thanks so much!

I am able to change to full width layout on other pages, including GD checkout. I am also able to specify just content/sidebar on add-listings page. I am only not able to change layout for the member page. Is there a setting for this I am missing in GD? Thanks
June 16, 2016 at 6:04 pm in reply to: default wp login page when clicking on login link – bp #209794Thanks so much for the response. I only want the login in the top nav. So, yes, using the GD login link works well, but once logged in, the login link remains as is. Is there a way to show it as logout (once logged in), in the way that the bp login/logout works?
And, off topic, kinda, but I went to look at your Genesis themes and none of the demos are loading.
thanks again!

sigh, one more question. should i deactivate the plugins before ftp’ing the most recent version? thanks!
thanks for checking. ok, i went in and deactivated the GeoDirectoryx Force Update and it allowed me to enter the licenses, so that’s done.
i have question though, I do have the location manager and payment manager installed and activated, but I see neither under GeoDirectory auto updates/licensing. does this mean that those licenses held? Or?
thanks again :)?

If I continue with cloudways and go to multisite, this means varnish will be disabled on everything created within that install, do you think this will slow other sites created, such as a forum, etc. Can I enable memcached for the geodirectory site? I disabled it because I wasn’t sure what it was :).
Thanks again, I know this last question(s) is not really in the realm of geodirectory help…
never mind 🙂
Thanks again!!!
