Hi Guust,
That’s not ideal for quite a few of my potential customers. Being in a holiday destination I have some potential listing owners who own a few (typically 2 or 3) holiday cottages. I’m sure they’d be keen to list them all but they’re unlikely to want to pay for a “parent” listing. I would have to price the cost of adding additional listings below 50% of the parent listing cost for it to be worth their while (at which point it isn’t really worth my while….)
So, if there’s any way of tweaking this with some kind of child-theme function that would really help.
Also, just got a couple of quick questions on payments/renewals.
– I understand that the renewal of a franchise will be based on the renewal date of the main listing, so if a franchise is added a few weeks/months after the main listing would the cost of the franchise listing be automatically worked out pro-rata?
– At renewal would the customer be able to renew some/all frnachise listings at the same time, and therefore be directed to pay for all listings as one total payment?
– Am I right in thinking that coupon codes can be used on the main listing but not on additional franchises?Thanks,

Thanks for taking a look.
It is now showing the franchise tab, however, it’s not consistent. On the franchise tab for the main franchise it only shows the 2nd franchise, whereas on the franchise tab for the 2nd franchise it shows both franchises.

Just found this thread and was curious about the shortcode question. Is the intention to be able to use a shortcode to display the values in a custom field, or to use a shortcode to add some custom text based on what has been input in to a custom field?
To explain the reason for my query, I would like to be able to create a shortcode that could be used to display all values in a given custom field. So, for example, if I had a custom file upload field of logos I was hoping to then display all the logos on a page. So, would I be able to adapt the “my_enable_shortcodes_in_cf” function mentioned above for this purpose?

I noticed 1.4.3 is available, but could not see anything from the change log that covered any of the issues I raised. Is there another update in the pipeline to follow very soon?

Yep, that sorted it. Presuming upgrade to 1.3.8 means this won’t happen again on new events?

Got it to update ok on my test site, however, on my life site I’m experiencing a slightly different issue.
After “downloading update from https://wpgeo…..” it says “Download failed. Unauthorized”.
On an earlier attempt I think it said something about problems connecting to the server.I’ve had a quick look under Appearance>Theme License on my live site and it says “Site inactive” and on my test site it says “License key is active. Expires 8th August 2016.”
I know both of these messages are incorrect as my license is lifetime (see https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/theme-license/) but might this error be the cause of the update problems?
