Social plugin

    I’ve been using Social Connect for a couple of years without any issues across GT and GD, however, today I had a Facebook developer alert adivising that the App I set up for Social Connect had made “recent API calls to Graph API v2.0, which will reach the end of the 2-year deprecation window on Monday, August 8, 2016. Please migrate all calls to v2.1 or higher in order to avoid potential broken experiences.”

    It looks like Social Connect is currently not being developed so I probably need to replace it anyway.

    Can you suggest an alternative plugin that is GD compatible and maintained?

    Hi,

    we know that a new dev asked to take over that plugin. We have been in touch with him and he said he should be able to fix it before it breaks in august.

    He should release an update in the next couple of weeks.

    Let us know if he doesn’t.

    Just for info and to keep this thread up to date, the Social Connect developer has not issued an update yet.
