Hi Paolo.
Looks Ok, thanks.
If possible it would be good to know what has been fixed so that I don’t accidentally un-fix it 🙂
Cheers,
MarkApril 14, 2016 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Discounts, Free Trials and Recurring Payments on Preview #163360Hi.
I’ve finally got around to looking at this. I’ve managed to add an extra message (for when
“$sub_num_trial_days_var > 1” ).I did this by editing the geodir_payment_actions.php file and replacing the file in the plugin folder, however, I know I need to my child theme. I have tried adding the “geodir_publish_payment_listing_form_before_msg” function to my functions.php code (below) to my child theme functions.php file but this breaks the review page.
It would be great if you could advise how I should be implementing this.
Also, does making this change have knock-on implications for the language file?
Thx

When adding/editing the location Geodirectory now adds “” before the apostrophe (single quote). i.e. If I input “King’s Lynn” it saves as “King’s Lynn”. Whilst this means it can added to selected regions (on the location settings tab) it means it will show as “King’s Lynn” on the page. Not good.
If I input as “King's Lynn” it saves correctly, however, it cannot subsequently be added to selected regions.
This issue has been kicking around for a while now and I was hoping it would’ve been sorted by now. 🙁

Could you point me in the direction of where I can find this function. I’ve looked in various files (in both plugin and core) but couldn’t find it.
Presumably it’ll be a case of adding the updated function to the function.php file in my child theme?
I’ll probably have more questions but happy to give it a go once I know where to start 🙂
Cheers,
MarkThanks Paolo. 🙂

Told you it would be a school-boy error! 🙂
I’m sure I’d read somewhere on the Forum that it was okay to have other elements in the permalink as long as /%postname%/ was included.
Previously on Geotheme I had /%category%/%postname%/%year%/%monthnum%/ and I’d really like to use this again. When I change the permalink to this it seems to be okay (and shows the meta & location descriptions fine).
If this is okay is there a way to remove “category” from the permalink as it didn’t appear on my Geotheme site’s blog category permalinks.
e.g. Geodirectory – http://dev2.norfolkplaces.co.uk/category/love-norfolk/blog/
e.g. Geotheme – http://www.norfolkplaces.co.uk/we-love-norfolk-life/blog/Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
