Hello again, Alex.
again to switch off the picture in the post.
I asked the theme manufacturer which custom CSS I can use to switch off all featured immages within posts
the code is
.single .np-article-thumb {
display: none;
}Unfortunately it only works with all normal WordPress Posts. The GeoDirectory images are apparently managed separately by the PlugIn.
What CSS code do I need to disable the images in GD Posts?
Could not find the variable name in the documentation.Many thanks – Markus

Thank you for your prompt reply.

1. you can control almost everything about the display of GD data on the GD Details pages by editing the GD Details template. Find out more about GD Pages and templates here:Yes, GD is so powerful and extensive, I’ve been working on it intensively for 3 months now. Of course I still have a lot to learn.
I just thought that a filter for custom posts – like gd_map map_type for gd_category – would be consistent and useful. Would be much easier for users like me. See the screenshot at the bottom left.
I was not able to adjust the GD Details pages so that only the category icons are shown by a custom post or they are even selectable, as with maps. Probably I need a professional programmer who understands it better than I do.
I always display all category icons from all custom postes, no matter what I try. And that’s a few hundred for me when I’m done. Too much to use gd_categories then.Will you install such a filter for gd_categories at some point?
to 2.
2. find that in the Titles and Metas settings
GD – Settings – General – Titles and Metas – Post TitleThere is no extra % character there – the entry is %%Titel%%.
Do you have another idea where I can look?Best regards, Markus

HiNaveen Giri,
yes, i know. With Shortcode: [gd_cpt_categories] i can produce special Lists.
But i cant do that with the [gd_categories]Alex answered:
It is not possible to select specific categories.I have made a note of your idea and the developers will consider it for a future version.
I wanted to know, if its planned to make a filter to [gd_categories] and when it is planned. As i asked in my thread. What u tell me is altready answered above. I think its an important feature becaus the view of the category icons is best to choose. As i wrote already – it looks ugly, when using 30 CPTs and each has 20 categories. U get 600 categoriey icons shown at the location page.
Please read the whole thread – ty.
Kind regards – MarkusThank you Naveen Giri and Alex,
@alex
GD Listings can have category filters applied, use the shortcode builder to do that.I ve already experimented with GD listings on a test WP site.
Thanks for the tip.But it does not look as nice as the categorY Icon SIte wich ist best for navigation throug catehories.Also GD CPT Listings is interesting for many CPTs.
Of course it would be fantastic to be able to list the Categories by CPTs. The overview with the category icons is simply the clearest. ISt therefore an elementary feature, which I would like to use very much.
However, that feature is not yet available for GD Categories shortcode/element
Is there a plan whether this filter will be added to [gd_categories] at some point?
With 10 CPTs with 6 to 12 categories each, [gd_categories] is otherwise unusable and seems chaotic. Also the pull down of the categories on the map becomes endlessly long,Example of my test site in ScreenShot. And there are only 6 CPTs with a few categories.
An info whether this is really planned and when would probably be very nice.
Or a tip on how I would do it.
I know, you don’t make any adjustments, but maybe there is a way that I as a GeoDir beginner don’t come, but you as professionals do.Have a nice day – best regards, Markus

August 8, 2019 at 7:36 am in reply to: Split: Urgent – Google API Key not loading, maps not working #501971Hello, Kiran,
Yeah, you’re right. I’m sorry I stole your time. I was registered as an editor instead of an admin. So I had a reduced dashboard.
One last question to avoid future support requests in this matter.
What did you change about GDPR Cookie Consent and otherwise to get rid of the card error? Because I ahbe seen that GDPR Cookie Consent is active and the card is still displayed correctly.
Once again many thanks and a good success, what ever today is pending.

August 7, 2019 at 2:13 pm in reply to: Split: Urgent – Google API Key not loading, maps not working #501812Hi Kiran.
i got a reduced admin dashboard.
First at both sites – now I ve checked mein-garten.de – wich is complete now again.But the altea.me dashboard is missing a lot settings, plug ins / design, customizer …. Watch screenshot.
I thought that was because of your switching off things when debugging.Have a nice day – Markus
August 6, 2019 at 5:02 pm in reply to: Split: Urgent – Google API Key not loading, maps not working #501627Good evening Kiran,
and thanks for the great help.
The map is visible again.
I need a privacy policy plugin where people can reject cookies. Otherwise you pay high fines.
I have disabled that option from GDPR Cookie Consent > Script Blocker > Google maps > Disable.
Did you do that with settings? I need to do that at another site as well. https://quagga.de
What irritates me is that I had turned off all the plug-ins, but the map was not visible. Maybe I hadn’t cleared the cache.
Anyway – it works again I don’t need any additional plugins.
Please restore the admin areas of both sites. Currently the admin dashboard is empty for altea.me and mein-garten.de.
Again thank you very much and a good time – Best Regards, Markus
