Yes Kor,
It worked. Perfect! However, the distance between the Parent & child Menu Item has increased. Do you think this is the strange code you saw targeting the Menu?
Or else, you tell, What strange code you are seeing? Please let me know & i shall remove it.
Even when you are logged out & Click the Parent Menu, in my case , Submit an Article, it should take me to myurl/submit-an-article/.
Instead, it doesn’t click & pick the link from Child(Blog) & takes you to myurl/blog/
Please check this without logging in.
Sending you both GD & Non GD pages in my Main menu.
GD Pages – Account(Page) & Profile (Custom Link)
Non GD Pages – Submit an Article(Page) & Blog(Page)See the Menu structure screenshot too-
Alex wrote:It is clickable in desktop and mobile when the parent menu is viewed, at least for me it is.
Me: So that means , it works, theme is also designed for this and is certainly not the expected UI pattern. You are making contradictory statements, Alex. Now tell.me, what should I do so that it works for me too? Suggest something.
Alex wrote: The parent item is only not clickable when it is viewed in mobile within the subnav menu.
Me: This is the expected behaviour and logical too. And I never mentioned this as the issue faced by me.
Alex: If it was clickable in the subnav, there would be no way to return to the parent nav.
Me: Again, expected & logical.
So I can safely believe that the theme is not designed for this.
And it’s already unclickable.. I don’t understand why are you recommending it.
Alex, you are not understanding. # is added to the parent menu to make it ‘UNCLICKABLE’ and not the other way.
I want to make my Parent menu clickable so that it can take me to the page it is meant for.Can this be done?
This reply has been marked as private. But my parent menu doesn’t have a custom link, so why is it not working then?
Drop down menus not only work through child menu. Is it?
Please suggest a solution.Perfect !!
Thank you so much Kor.

ManishPlease see the screenshot. I have changed the color of the text and Background using .mm-list But could not find the right CSS to change the color of arrow.
Can you help me with this? Thanks
Thanks Alex,
My plugin doesn’t work with sub-menu. That’s what I found last night.
Please suggest if the color of this Add listing > arrow can be changed?
Manish
thanks Alex, Kor
I thought so as well – Customization would be required to put the taxonomy in the header.
I have already hidden the categories, so that’s ok.
No worries! Thanks for your help
Hi Patrik,
I found a setting in the security plugin which is allowing the login & redirection now. All good!Hi Alex,
No, No, i was able to login to my dashboard as administrator & users were allowed as well through the normal login process. This one area where a URL string was present(redirection) was giving the Http 403 error, which i resolved by tweaking in the settings og my security plugin. All good & working now! Thanks
ManishThanks Patrik,
It is now allowing me to login. I am using All in one WP Security.
Can you suggest a way to login with the security plugin activated? It is very essential for my site.
Awaiting your reply.
Manish
