I figured out the problem. Thanks for your help.
I added a new Custom Field(text) on the page: Manage Dentist Custom Fields, and it showed up fine. But when I refresh the page, or navigate away and come back, the field no longer shows. I’m noticing that the table wp_[X]_geodir_custom_sort_fields stayed empty. Are the wp_[X]_geodir_custom_fields table and the wp_[X]_geodir_custom_sort_fields table supposed to communicate with each other? If so, can you think of a reason why the wouldn’t be?

I’m communicating with my server admin. Is there a certain area(specific table) he should be looking in? He said if he knows where to look, he might be able to find it.
