Which of my GD Plugins is not up to date? The backend does not propose any updates (see screenshot)

    The PHP-error is a separate problem (https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/php-fatal-error-on-category-listin/)

Any idea on how to fix the original problem?

    Hi Guust,

thanks for the quick response. I updated everything in the live environment and configured autoptimze the way you recommend (even tried deactivating it). However, the error is still there.

But I noticed that it works if Hamburg is preselected when you open the form. How you could reproduce it from where you are at:
    1. click “Hamburg Deutschland” entry in drop-down –> Country drop-down empties
    2. follow the steps descibed above.

I also just noticed that my PHP error log shows many of the following entries:
    —-
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_tax_meta() in […]/wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/geodir_location_hooks_actions.php:3899
    Stack trace:

    #2 […]/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array)
    #3 […]/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-templates/geodir-listing.php(44): do_action(‘geodir_listings…’)
    #4 […]/wp-includes/template-loader.php(74): include(‘[…]_…’)
    #5 […]/wp-blog-header.php(19): require_once(‘[…][…]_…’)
    #6 […]/index.php(17): require(‘[…]_…’)
    #7 {main}
thrown in […]/wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/geodir_location_hooks_actions.php on line 3899

Can that have anything to do with it?

    Thanks!
    Jonas

    Hi Stiofan,

I don’t understand. What Addon do you mean and why does the uppercase work everywhere (e.g. in the breadcrumb) except the detail page?

    Thanks!

And how about the case in “Sup Place”?

    Hi Stiofan,

    that’s too bad 🙁

Would you say that it always gets messy when trying to mix GD and other pages/posts or is that just for hierarchical taxonomies? Is there a way for tags?

If not I have a serious problem to manage my content in the future!

    thanks in advance
    Jonas

That’s a pity. Nevertheless, thanks for guiding me to the solution… 😉

I use the current version of Chrome (46.0.2490.86) and experienced the same issues.

However, it seems that this has something to do with using W3 Total Cache wordpress plugin: I turned that plugin off this afternoon for testing CSS issues. When I tried to reproduce the malfunction, it went all smoothly. Only as I turned the caching plugin on again, the errors came up.

Is GD Booster really the only option for caching?

That doesn’t do the trick either since we don’t have the GD home as our site home. It seems that I have to add a listing in the Polar Sea to find an average that suits our needs…

But anyway, thanks for your support.

Thanks. (Damn!) That’s definitely not the answer I was looking for. :/ Any chance that this is going to be added as a feature?

How do I set GD to show just the default city on the map?

    Best
    Mike
