Set default map section

    I wonder if there is a way to pre-define the area that is shown in the map widget.

    As you can see http://supscout.de/places/, one of our users has added a listing in Brasil, which is fabuluos. Why not go international? Nevertheless, our main targets today are Germany, Austria and Switzerland, why I would like to set the default map section to show just these countries. Setting the zoom level to 5 is easily done in the widget properties. But when I do this, the map shows Marocco, which is really of no interest for us (at the moment).

    Is there a way to initially show just a subset of spots (other than killing the entry in Brasil)?

    That’s not possible. The map will automatically zoom in or out to show all the available listings.
    You can choose to only show the default city, or everything; nothing in between.

    Thanks. (Damn!) That’s definitely not the answer I was looking for. :/ Any chance that this is going to be added as a feature?

    How do I set GD to show just the default city on the map?

    GD > Multilocations > Location settings tab > Home Page Results > Show default location results on home page (First time only, if geodirectory home page is your site home page and user comes to home page).

    That doesn’t do the trick either since we don’t have the GD home as our site home. It seems that I have to add a listing in the Polar Sea to find an average that suits our needs…

    But anyway, thanks for your support.
