GD has this calendar widget, you can see it here on the sidebar
2- Pardon, you can actually upload a listing with a new city (tested now)
3- to create custom fields, you can go to the settings of your custom post type, and then the interface is quite easy and intuitive. The HTML variable name is the ID of the custom field, so for example, if you add a custom field named “test”, you should create a column in your CSV named geodir_test
Hell Stacey,
1- tags can be blank on GD
2- yes, cities must be creates on GD prior to the import
3- yes, custom fields need to be created first, then you can add a column with geodir_nameofyourfield
4- you can write plain text, there’s no standards in this field

Hello, you can use either your paypal email or your merchant ID (you can see your ID in this page, on the bottom)
Hello, there’s no such place in New Delhi for Crow Fountain, that’s why no results, if an user wants to find places within different cities in a given country, he can switch to India, using the Location Switcher (http://wpgeo.directory/location/india/) and not limiting the results for a city in india
Hello, that’s strange, it happens only with that listing, I’ve treid to create two test places with the same settings, category and location, and it works fine. It could be an isolated issue, try to create a mother one and delete that one (Diagonal Furniture)
Hello, please provide url and login details, thanks
This reply has been marked as private.hi, could you please write your url and login details?
This reply has been marked as private.Location switcher is always visible in the navigation menu, you should first set a menu in Appareance/menu and then assign that in GD going in GeoDirectory/design/navigation, once you do that, you should go in GeoDirectory/Multilocation and enable “Show location switcher in menu”
1- what error do you have?
If the user will disallow the permission for the share location, he will see the home of the website with the default city, otherwise he will see the map for the closest city based on his location3- you can add the popular category widget, and it will automatically show the category based for each CPT, and yes, you need to create individual categories for each cpt, these aren’t global
Hello Joe,
the user, when opens the website, can share his location (the browse will asks for the share-permission) and then the map will be loaded showing the closest city based on the user location.
Also, via the location switcher, the user can manually choose the location based on country, region or city.
With widgets, you can show a list of categories and if clicked, you’ll see the specified listings.
