these quotes are the result when nothing is written to the search field (in the “Search for” box), basically it tells you that for the “empty” query there are no results, that’s the normal behavior as far as I know (I’d be happy if I’m wrong about this).It could be tweaked with some code in the search.

currently, the alt tag is taken from the filename, so hotel.jpg will be alt=”hotel”That’s the issue then.
Check the permission for the uploads folder (and sub-folders) and eventually apply permission 755

Hello, this is happening because GD has the auto-location feature. To avoid that and see your static page, you need to disable the “GeoDirectory Share Location plugin”.
Sorry about that, however this is in the to-do list so in the near future it will be possible to have this option.
