Read More link broken in Popular Post View widget?

    If I specify a character count for the popular post widget and the excerpt is greater than this count, the read more link gets added as ‘[…]’ and the link is formatted as …See attached, I can’t post it here.

    I’m not sure if I have broken something?

    Can you check it, please? I can wait for the next update if it is broken.

    Hi Simone, I’m running on local host. If it’s a GD problem you should be able to reproduce it on your website.

    Hi, I did ask for your live website because I already tested that on my test GD site, and it works, you can see it here.

    The first listing has a lot of text, and I’ve set the count to 20.

    I think the […] is meant to be a Read More link?

    Maybe it’s not meant to be a link? I’m happy to wait for the next update to see how it works.

    No, it isn’t a link 🙂

    I thought that your “issue” was different because in the file you attached there was a wrong code.

    Yeah, I am getting that bad link in a sidebar popular posts widget, but I’ll wait for the next version.
