Hello, the featued banner is in the geodirectory folder, inside geodirectory-assets/images.
What you can do is to edit the image to what you like, and then move it inside the child theme, and adding this to your style.css inside your child theme folder

ul li .geodir_featured_img {
background: url(nameofyourimage.png) no-repeat !important;
}

So in this way your modification will be preserved in the future releases

You can see the near me button in the demo site, it is a compass icon inside the Near field. This is included in the Advanced Search addon, the GD plugin has a standalone “Near Me” widget, it is a button and you can place it where you want.
