Hi David, a listing cannot be moved to another post type (I believe it can be done via database, but then you must check if categories for the other post type are matching etc..). If the places are set featured as default, please check the Price Package and check if the default one has the “Featured” option enabled.
Hello Alejandro,
have you read the getting started documentation (here http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/category/getting-started/ ) ?
In case, please provide login details in a private reply and I will take a look
Hello Giuseppe, the virtual pages (such as the location page) doesn’t need to be changed, you can change the permalink in the permalink settings.
If you run the GD Tool you will see that the location page and the add listing page are missing.Hi Giuseppe:
1- this is not working as you are thinking, the field is searching for the name of the Post type, so for example in your case it will show “Places” if you start with searching with “P”.2- To see all the places, you can go to http://soysostenible.website/places/
Hello Antonella, not sure if this is possible, have you tried with the Translation Management addon?
more info here http://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/Hello, that field is used to search the Post Types, So if you look for “Places” among a lot of custom types, you just type the first letter of Places and then you select it.
Hello, events (and so places) needs an address and it is mandatory.
To display categories, you can go to the Events settings, then Custom fields, expand the Categories field on the right, and set “Show on listing page” to YesThe bottom section is correct, it is the area that starts below the sidebar.
What you can do is to enable the Related listings tab, going in the Geodirectory Settings / Design and then in the Details tab you’ll find the setting for the related listings.February 19, 2015 at 4:25 pm in reply to: Restrict ability to add any listing to business owners only #31435We are here to help, you’re welcome 🙂
Hello, could you please post url and login details in a private reply so we can have a look? thanks.
Hello, I tried to register and login, and it works as expected, (you should have received the registration notification by email), tested with Chrome.
Could you tell us what steps you take in order to reproduce the issue and the browser you’re using? Also, could you check in a private window or deleting the cache in your browser, thanks.February 18, 2015 at 9:18 pm in reply to: Displaying the Advertise Widget Only on Free Accounts #31308Use the following code:
global $post, $wp_query, $geodirectory; return $post->package_id=="1";
where 1 is the free package
That means you can only set an address within the London city (no other cities, for this you need the Multilocation addon)
Please set first a Default location, and at least a category, then you can add listings. Also, please update Geodirectory to the latest version (you have v 1.3.6)
Here you can find the documentation
