I tried looking briefly at all the links from here on your demo site:

What do you mean, “the link event was not 100% working “? Did you change something in the settings or the conversion tool?

Bear in mind, I have at least 6 more questions (all on the post) I’ve linked to a dozen times. I’m just going through what I know when I look at the site. If you’re going to look at my site, then you may want to also take a look at the other questions.
BUT, you should look into the actual instructions you provided. You made a very generic statement – something like – check all the settings – which is supposed to encompass 2 weeks of work for some of us.
But it MAY be that you FIRST have to redo all the packages (check recurring events, check allow Place connection) etc etc.
I haven’t done all that – because obviously I assume the “Conversion” tool would just convert. I keep just running across these issues in no apparent order.
Which database? Live or clone?
And – how do I do that? I assume I have to do the my PHP thing again. Where’s the link to the GT to GD directions? I didn’t bookmark them and you’ve cut me off from GT.

Just outline what does/doesn’t work in the conversion tool. Your initial post about how to convert clearly leaves out 90% of what needs to be done!

Where I have asked the same questions and you never respond. They all have to be reset.It doesn’t look like you plan on doing anything to do the “conversion tool”. It’s been OVER A WEEK and I’ve had to ask multiple times already – for you to make your products do what they say they will.
If you’re not going to fix the conversion tool. Just say so already.

You’ve CUT OFF Geotheme without ANY notice. Some of us depend on the income from our sites and can’t afford to have them crash. And this conversion process you outlined (of a few hours and a few widget settings) isn’t remotely feasible for some websites. There’s a LOT more to it so please take that into consideration and provide some answers.
OK. I’ll save the widget info for when the conversion tool is fixed (????!!!!!??????).
The feature request is useless. Any new request will go on page 7 of requests. No one is scrolling that far to vote. You’ll have to start implementing or removing some of the features already voted on to make the list useful from this point forward.

It seems there’s a lot less focus on places/events in this plug in vs. GT. Nearby locations is gone. The link between events/places gone in conversion. The Event Venue is a tiny little link anyway…
Can you explain this more? I don’t understand how to get different widgets on a place vs an event. There seems to be only sidebar for all GD listings?
4) you can use widget logic with this as logics:places: ‘gd_place’ == get_post_type()
events: ‘gd_event’ == get_post_type()
