done – and now working well at least its authorised no data yet
Thank You for the pointer
🙂
Good fix and done
However just a note – using GDF changing background of page colour does not affect the map bubble so if you have a review and you have done as suggested above the background of the star will show. It isn’t as noticeable but if someone was using a darker background it would be.
I will just alter the bubble background colour to suit the theme
Thank you 🙂
It seems to be working well – I guess the turning off check boxes wont have any other effect other than avoiding inaccuracies
Thanks for the input
Umm can see now – hind sight is a wonderful thing
I followed the layout in the original post and didn’t realise that the prefix was added when you saved it.
Solved thank you
Just ran into this issue
If we change the overall rating colour to the page background colour what effect will this have on the rating system. I am just at the start of development of this site and don’t have enough review data to see how this will affect things.
Struggling to get this looking right at present
Thanks Paolo
I had tried that, however a few of the POI were very close to real life addresses so it looked very confusing when you gave the name of a beach and the address showed a residential building.
I have resorted to turning off “Disable move map pin from changing address fields” and “Disable set address on map from changing address fields” which states is not recommended. I presume this is just to avoid inaccuracies or is there some other implication that I should be aware of.
Thanks for your input
Is there no way to flag that the listing has been edited to admin – even an e-mail would help – I get the 404 issue but this does leave a wonderful opportunity to create an inappropriate listing.
Obviously not enough people screaming for this so its not important. How long is it now since this was promised?
I personally dropped my geotheme subscription in the belief that this was just around the corner so now I am sat in limbo land.
I either take a chunk of time out and manually convert everything over or sit waiting (as I have been doing) or leave my Geotheme sites without updates (not ideal)
I am not holding out seeing this tool so I guess I will have to take the time to convert manually.
Excellent post cdgweb – plus one here on all the above
Documentation is an absolute must along with ensuring that a release doesen’t wipe out layouts.
Compatability packs were deleted prior to up grade
Posted on this thread because it appeared logical to do so given the title is exactly how I would have posted.
Seems premature to mark a thread as resolved so quickly and especially with no details of the fix that put things right.
When I get chance I will open a new thread and create a user account – disapointed in the way that this upgrade was rolled out – I luckily caught the post before up grading but I could have easily just upgraded without prior knowledge. Also no real explanation as to what/how we are to use the new compatability features.
I havent got a live site thankfully – I wouldn’t have been impressed if I had and dont think that you guys would be either. We should be well past upgrade, beta test, upgrade.
Having issues with Bold as well – styling all off and in admin I have certain areas that are now just white screen – looks like a plugin conflict but at the moment I haven’t got time to do anything with it.
I will supply log in details when I can find time to clear the plugin that is causing this conflict and create a new user.
Site was rock steady before the upgrade
Hows this progressing? any date for release?
Thank you
🙂
never thought I would see the day 🙂
So much software with American spelling
