Sorry Paolo I think I posted this in the wrong section – I was looking for others with the bold theme and general feedback from them regarding this issue and what people are using to test with.
next post will have a link for you
Cheers
🙂
very clear explained perfectly – totally get the logic Guust 🙂
plus 1
Confused ?
Surely a user wants to know what’s available to them – so is it in the DB
I have been working on the assumption that if someone searched the near field they would return results held in the DB as Guust which is logical
Thanks for the pointers appreciated – You say currently is this a widget that is likely to be added?
Whilst I can see your logic regarding the query being slow I would imagine that there are many people who need to show new posts from all CPT’s
Thanks
oops – embarrassed now
Thanks for that John 🙂
This reply has been marked as private.possibly a way of keeping us subscribing to both – seem to remember it being said that as soon as GD was launched the conversion tools would be next.
I have just un installed everything and then re installed everything and now back to normal – but obviously now have to rebuild everything
What would cause this? need to have some idea as I dont want to go through this again when updating.
Any ideas why?
I have tried changing themes – still get error
Cant deactivate location manager it just goes white screen
So had to ftp into plugins and remove location manager – which then produced the error shown
Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_is_page() in /home/builder/public_html/hub/wp-content/plugins/geodir_ajax_duplicate_alert/geodir_ajax_duplicate_alert.php on line 422
Deactivated this from back end to get this :-
Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_get_current_posttype() in /home/builder/public_html/hub/wp-content/plugins/geodir_advance_search_filters/geodirectory_advance_search_function.php on line 1309
Deactivated this from back end to get this :-
Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_is_page() in /home/builder/public_html/hub/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory-genesis-compatibility-pack/geodir_genesis_compatibility.php on line 119
Deactivated this from back end to get this :-
Fatal error: Call to undefined function geodir_get_current_posttype() in /home/builder/public_html/hub/wp-content/plugins/geodir_autocompleter/geodir_autocompleter.php on line 122
finally after this one no more errors
Any ideas?
Everything was working fine before upgrade
Installed the update but then went straight to updating the additional plugin add-ons so I do not know if the update with the old location manager worked.
The path of the folder is shown above – wordpress is installed in its own directory.
everything updated last time with no issue and I am not aware of anything changing the order of installation – again nothing has been added since the last update which went fine.
try this
That got it John – set to full width – sorted and happy
John – Just purchased bold theme and its pushing the widget area to bottom of page have I missed a setting somewhere?
Very nice theme by the way
🙂
So are all these at the point of being just plug and play?
