Are there any known issues with using special characters in category names and tag names?
The snippet does show status, thank you.
But we’re also looking for the renewal link to be displayed on non-author pages.I tried creating an Author page template using Anywhere Elementor but for some reason it’s not overriding.
Also, this is what works to display the edit and delete links
[gd_author_actions author_page_only=0]
I have this in the archive item template
[gd_author_actions author_page_only=0 ]
I am using this on the /profile page
[gd_listings post_type="gd_place" post_author="current_user" character_count="0"]
But this only displays Edit and Delete links. If I’m on author page, it shows Status, Edit, Delete, and Renew.
I’d like to see Status and Renew links in all places for admin and listing owner. Is this possible? Or to overwrite the author archive template with elementor template?
Thanks.
I see the status and renew link is only displayed on the author page? It’s not possible to display status and renew link on other pages via the loop or listing shortcode? If so, is it possible to create dynamic link without using the dashboard shortcode?
Ok, thanks. So the expiration date of recurring packages does not change unless the payment fails? and are they supposed to receive reminder emails or invoice receipt?
What shortcode should we be using for the dashboard page?
The problem was we disabled the non-recurring packages and reminders were not being sent. We have now enabled non-recurring and hid the options from the front-end. So they can choose a recurring package.
But now we’re seeing some recurring listings being renewed properly with authorize.net and the expiration date not changing to next year. Is this expected behavior? Are they supposed to receive payment receipt or reminder emails?
Also, when a package does get set to Expired Status, the author of the listing cannot see his listing on our dashboard page. It doesn’t display any options to renew their expired listing because it’s not visible.
I’ve tried using[gd_listings post_type="gd_place" post_author="current_user" character_count="0"] [gd_listings post_type="gd_place" post_author="current_author" character_count="0"] [gd_listings post_type="gd_place" post_author="author" character_count="0"]
Guidance is appreciated.
Worked great, Kiran. Thank you!
to clarify, If i run the expire check, it will change the status to Expired of all listings that have expiration date in the past and it will send email to listing owner that their listing is expired, at the time of running the check?
ok thanks for clarification, Alex.
This reply has been marked as private. It’s been so long when I added my listing, I can’t remember if I created it on the front-end or backend. I would guess the front-end so that I could test checkout. But I would’ve cancelled the renewal payment though.

Expiration date is being displayed to all. I have to add feature to hide from all except admin.
Let me finish some work on the staging and I’ll send login for your review…
Also, I just set my listing to expire on Dec 13th. Today is the 12th. Will it expire at the beginning of the day on the 13th or the end of the day on the 13th?
But I notice, when I changed the expiration date to the 13th and save changes, the expiration date changed to the 12th. See video
