    Hi,

    No one touched the website for a couple of weeks. The problem was created without any input from my end. If anything was deleted, it was not done manually from my end. No one has accessed the website.

    I have cleared the browser cache on 2 browsers. The problem persists with both browsers. I have logged out and logged back in to WordPress on both browsers. The images for the categories within the CPT are not appearing. Only the main image for the CPT is appearing for (nearly) all categories within the CPT. This problem is new. When I set up the website a month or so ago, it worked properly. Now suddenly, with zero manual changes on my end, it’s not working at all. I would be grateful if you could locate the problem (without accusing me of deleting anything since like I said, no one has touched it).

    Hi and thank you,

    I hadn’t touched the website for a couple of weeks and when I returned to it, it was like this. Do images sometimes randomly get deleted from the server? Also, they were present in my media files, but somehow not on the server?

    So I’ve reattached all the images and icons in the CPT Eateries and am still having the same problem… (weird!)

    Right. I want the login box in the header. I want it to be the first thing, front and center, that people see. That’s why I put it there. It also works much better there in fact, as it allows all CPT in the drop-down, which the login box in the sidebars don’t do–they just list the first 3-4 or so, which is also confusing for new users. So I really want it in the header. I just need to figure out how to make it not transparent so the Whoop menu in header doesn’t interfere from underneath. Can you tell me how to do that?

    O dear. This is not at all what I had in mind. This forced upgrade applies only to existing listings?? If they can list for free why would they pay?

    so, please tell me the advantage of this addon then. Is it only to put that little tag on the listing that it’s been claimed?

    Also, the set of emails associated with this addon didn’t go around when this listing was claimed. (I’ve since had to delete that listing and put it in a different CPT since it was in the wrong one, so the listing isn’t the original.) Is this addon working?

    Hi Paolo,

    Thanks for this. this isn’t working for me. I only want to export and reimport ONE listing — not all listings in the CPT. I hope I’m doing something wrong and this isn’t simply how the software works…. Kindly advise. Also, how do you export and re-import a listing with a comment attached to it and preserve the comment?

    Hi Paolo,

    thank you.

    Does putting both tags (hotel, restaurant) on the listing make them come up in both searches? I’d REALLY rather not have multiple listings for the same place. That means all of the comments will be divided and it seems it will be quite confusing as a user. Is there another way to resolve this?

    ah. that explains some of my trouble! thanks.

    is there a way then to connect the checkout with the claim listing? I’d like to charge vendors for claiming their listing.

    Thanks Stiofan,

    Actually there should be authorize.net buttons on that page too, and that authorize.net info appears on the page I’m editing but is not coming up in the live page. The thing is, I can’t view the page in the normal way while editing it in WordPress. Normally, you know, you edit a page, then view it on the site to be sure it looks like you want it to live. I can’t do that with this page for some reason. That’s where I get the error message. thoughts?

    Thank you so much. It seems to be working okay now and I was able to set the posts to anonymous with that code. Thanks.

    A question on Claim Listings: I want to charge all vendors to claim their listing. To be sure I do this, I need to be sure that I receive an email (as admin) every time someone enters a new listing and checks “yes” on the business owner field as well as every time someone claims a listing previously entered by someone else. Is this possible? (I just entered a couple of new listings and checked myself as business owner but nothing different happened.)

    The error message disappeared, thankfully, so that works now. But I still have 2 outstanding issues.

    1) where do I get the star image? I can’t add a Rating Style (Rating Styles tab) without an error message prompting me for an image, screenshot attached.

    2) there are some rather significant navigational bugs on the site it appears. a) I can’t access any of my individual listings to either add reviews or even read the listing. b) Under “food” everything is coming up, including the massage therapist. c) When I do an area search, ALL of the pages come up, including back-end pages (see screenshot). d) All listings have green stars on them, even though I’ve deleted the green star options across the board. help!
