[Resolved] Seems this was caused because I installed the payments plugin and the images were set to “0”, not blank, for the default payment option.
Change your permalinks setting in GD – untick the “Add location slug in listing urls” to remove cites etc and see if that fixes your problem.
When does this happen?
Do you have cities in your permalinks?
You can’t reproduce it?
I’ll check it again when I get around to setting up a live site.
Type in the address, forget the map, save the listing.
Thanks Vikas, that works!
Hi Vikas, at this stage I am running on a local PC, I don’t have email enabled, so maybe that is causing the count to not increment?
Hi Vikas,
Any update on this? GD 1.0.2
If I click on the T&C link I get a shortened version of the new listing page?
Hi Vikas,

For me a rectangle defined by latitude and longitude would work well – I see that you store the lat and lon for each listing so it would be relatively easy to check if the values supplied when a listing is saved fit within the rectangle.
I would expect the rectangle could be specified in the multi-location plugin setup option? All you need are two values for lat and lon that specify the top left and bottom right corner of the rectangle. It doesn’t need to be sophisticated, we can get the values from google maps. (Or you could add a google map and let us specify the rectangle <g>)
I suspect this would be the easiest means for you to implement a process to limit listings to a particular area, since it fits in with the way the map locator and address entry process works when creating a new listing?
Thanks again Guust, I new I had seen a link to “My Postings” somewhere but couldn’t find it!
Yeah, it’s taking me ages to see new listings, but I don’t want to read/get an email for all new listings, I can select the ones I’m interested in from the titles and a simple list (like the old site) would suit me best.
Thanks Guust, I’ve installed the payments plugin and it is looking good!
OK, found it.. Design/Detail/Detail Page Tab settings
Thanks Vikas,
This is unworkable for me.
With cities enabled in the permalinks when someone adds a listing for a new city (Multi-location enabled) the whole site gets restricted to that one city. That would be very confusing for a user, even with the location selector visible.
I’ll use it without cities in the permalinks until the city filtering changes to something more usable.
That’s cool Paolo, however I need some way to restrict addresses to a geographic region, as I have mentioned in other posts (sorry to duplicate request, but it is important for me)
Hi Vikas, where did you add it? Which release number?
