September 20, 2014 at 1:04 am in reply to: Popular Post Categories widget – More Categories link to nowhere #15942I just want it fixed!
I don’t know if you can position the info box off of the map? It wold be good if you could, but I suspect because it is part of the map API it is going to popup somehwere on the map and cause the map to move?
September 19, 2014 at 5:14 am in reply to: Popular Post Categories widget – More Categories link to nowhere #15859After 15 categories the Popular Post Categories widget seems to create a “More Categories” link to nowhere?
<?php if($cat_count > 15) echo ‘‘.__(‘More Categories’,GEODIRECTORY_TEXTDOMAIN).’‘; ?>
Perhaps the widget can be improved so that we can specify how many categories before this link appears, and specify a target for the link???
Any update on this bug? Still seems to be present in latest version.
Unless they have specifically signed up to an email list on your site? If your T&C include consent to receive newsletters then is there a problem?
I know what you are saying, all I am saying is that if someone creates a page…
mysite.com/software/micosoft/
when it should be…
mysite.com/software/microsoft
Then SOMEONE is going to, or should, update that URL!
I agree that there will be less impact on SEO if that is only ever done by an admin.
The only person who can change the title is the person who created the listing, the business owner, or an admin.
I personally don’t see a problem with any of these people changing the title, and the URL. If the title and URL need to be corrected, eg because of a misspelling, then I think they should be changed. I would rather have a correct URL than a wron one.
I don’t see a big problem with broken links internally, possibly with external links – if any, but search engines will update eventually.
I just tried – uploaded a new featured image – went fine, new image is in 2014-09 folder, older images in 2014-07 folder.
