I just used my Samsung Galaxy s8 phone and the Dolphin browser which deletes all data, cache and history every time you exit the browser and even this is still not displaying the Featured Image nor linking me back to ShopRVA.com when I click on my logo from this listing here: https://shoprva.com/places/united-states/virginia-1/richmond-city/food-1/juleps-new-southern-cuisine-2/
Pleasze see the screenshots…..and explain why this is not working after trying 4 different browsers and 2 different devices…?
Guust,
I just rebooted my PC and cleared my Firefox cache for a 3rd time and I’m still not able to see the Featured Image on this listing nor am I able to click on the logo from this same page and get back to the root url.
Please click on this listing here https://shoprva.com/places/united-states/virginia-1/richmond-city/restaurants/dont-look-back/ and see if you can see their Featured Image and then see if you can click on the logo in the top left and get back to http://www.shoprva.com…? Please let me know because I’m out of options at this point.
Guust,
I just opened up Bing browser also and this issue with the Featured Image is not fixed, nor is the issue when you click on the logo. So this is now 3 browsers (Chrome, FireFox & Bing) that I have used and cleared cache on and it’s not behaving according to the settings. The only time it works is when I’m logged in as admin using Chrome. Soon as I log out, the Featured Image no longer displays and the logo does not link to the root shoprva.com…….it’s linking here: https://shoprva.com/location/united-states/virginia-1/richmond-city/
This video shows exactly what is happening: https://youtu.be/5J03VQoqsoM
Something is not adding up here…
Ok, thank you for clarifying these items Guust.
The 2nd concern was whenever you click on the logo it should take you back to our main landing page located at https://shoprva.com but as you saw in the video, it wasn’t even though we had already updated the setting to do so, several days ago. Could it just be a cache issue on my end or when you click on the logo from one of the listings…is it also not taking you back to our main landing page?
Guust,
Please clarify what you’re asking me to do here and what exactly I’m to expect in doing it…?
If you used Code Snippets and a CSS plugin, then there should be no issue at all.
The version you have currently is not a final version anyway, it is only a release candidate.Guust,
I need some help here….at this point we’re just spinning wheels going nowhere…this video explains the issues https://youtu.be/5J03VQoqsoM
Please help me get past these two issues.
So you’re telling me that I have to download the Supreme Directory file again and install it as if it were new…? What happens to all of the settings we’ve already spent hours configuring for this theme?

Yes that fixed it so that the company logo is now displaying in the Featured Image of each listing.
Thank you!

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Alex,
I’m a bit confused on this…what is the difference between an “archive” and “non-archive” page?
And what type of customization are we talking about if all we want to do is display the footer of the site on pages?
Paolo,
so it just pre-populates the fields on the add listing page…? If so, does it fill in all of the fields or just certain ones…? Please elaborate more.
Thank you,
RobertKor,
Is this true about the social importer…? It only provides one update….
Careful!
Social Importer is not a tool to scrape Facebook and Yelp and cannot create bulk imports. Once you have input your URL you get a one-time import. There is no systematic update. as shown at the bottom of this page? https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/social-importer/Thanks for the update Alex.
So to clarify on question #1, I’m not looking to add any footer to my existing Landing Page, but rather on the actual pages that have listings and the listing pages themselves…this is where we need to have the footer links and our company information.
So for example, if you go to this page here: https://shoprva.com/places/category/restaurants/ you see not FOOTER, but if you click on one of the listings…. https://shoprva.com/places/united-states/virginia-1/richmond-city/food-1/juleps-new-southern-cuisine-2/ Suddenly the footer re-appears.
How can we set this theme to always show the footer?
Thank you,
