I did finally see what you mean. I found the geodir_gd_place_details file and must correct the city, region, country and locations data in it. The pins show on other maps but if I remember correctly the locations data must be there for the main map under the home page so I will correct the table to fix that.
I have two questions however, for some reason the map GMap Home Page is no longer showing just under the home page and I have a swing out map I cannot get rid of when i list by categories (attached file). I cannot locate what I am doing wrong in not finding these.
Thanks again.
This reply has been marked as private.I have a follow up question. The code you provide worked wonderful but when the menu displays there is a “Connect” item that has 4 Custom Links which are Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and RSS however it does not show those as sub menu’s. Is there a way to get those to show? Again this is only on the mobile menu.
Thanks you once again!
YES !! it works, thank you so very much !!!!
This reply has been marked as private.Guust, I am a bit embarrassed about the script in the home page. I did not think to look there. It was put there by the original developer. Thank you!
I may have not been clear on the default location. I did not want the map to geolocate to the closest location to a new user. The home office will be in Nashville, Tenn. and we only do business in the US so all we need is for the map to be focused on the US when opening and then they can navigate to the closest location to them. In Geotheme i just used a zoom factor of 10 and we got the map of the US. Is this possible? I tried autozooming and not on the map but same effect –
Thanks Guust
This reply has been marked as private.I Entered Nashville for the City and Tennessee for the Region and then hit “Set Address On Map” and then clicked on “Save changes”. It sets the pin on Nashville however when I refresh the site the map opens up and if focusing on South America. I know with GeoTheme, the map would open up with the US map.
I should note that I have the manual zoom set at 10. The word doc attached shows the first map where I set the default location and the map below it is the map I get when I refresh after saving. One other problem if I can add to it is just below the map in the second image is a box under South America at the bottom of the screen that has a red “BlogCatalog” in it and I cannot remove it with everything I have tried. The box is between the left “Popular Categories” and “GD Home Right Section” boxes
