    Hi Kor,

Thanks for joining. I made a printscreen on 9 am as you can see I still have the black bar.
Ik even refreshed 10 times. I have an iPhone 8. In the printscreen I’m not logged in as an admin.

    Thanks

Hi Guust, thanks for your reply.

I am familiar with the way how child themes and style sheets work. So yes, I will put my code in the stylesheet of the child theme or in the customize and of course I wont make changes in the original stylesheet.
But I need to know how all the elements are named in order to put my changes in the right place
The only way of finding out I have now is the site inspector of my browser. To find the right element where to attach it too with the only help of the site inspector is in this case a very time consuming thing.
So it would really be great to be able to find the style.css with all the elements, download it to my computer and have insight in how you built it up and to see how the elements are named where I need to make changes and then put the changes in the stylesheet of the child theme. (That way I have been styling all my websites I have build. And like I wrote, normally I would find the complete list of elements in the style.css of the mothertheme. But the style.css of the directroy starter is empty)

As always thanks for your help

    Hi Kiran

Thanks for your help. All fixed now!
After working now for some time with the custom fields…
I get the feeling that its better to place the either in listing page OR in detailed listing page and not in both…that is when trouble start…is that true or just cooincidence?

    Thanks!

    Hi Alex

Thanks for your help. I am familiar with where to put css snippets. And sometimes put php snippets if indicated which php file. But I know I can mess up things pretty well if I put the snippet in a wrong place. Could you please indicate more specifically where to put it?
    Thanks

Hi everything was working fine…until I made some changes in the custom fields….and put a text area to show in the side bar…so when I did this, the textarea fields were again behaving very strangely in the side bar, same problem (see problem above in this tread).

Temporary solution. I deleted the new text areas for the moment, to get everything right.
But yes, I am going to need to add new text areas in the future, so it would be great if you could have a look at what is going wrong.

    Thanks
