SOLVED

I have figured out what my error was.

When you want to update the add-on you have to select the add-ons and the select update from the drop down box in the upper left hand corner of /wp-admin/plugins

Yeah yes I over looked the Video to Videos part there!

So other than translation or a Custom Post Type addon thats the only way to change Photo to photos?

I should have played around with the plugin before asking.

For those that are looking this plugin does have this option!
