I don’t know if I was clear at the start, but the problem is not that they are appearing in English (on the FR website). The problem is that they are not appearing at all on FR website… as if the addon wasn’t even installed.
I have not tried that yet.
Could that make them not appear at all ?
Does this also mean that reviews added in one language do not count toward the overall rating (average) of all ratings?
For example, we could have an average rating of 2/5 in FR and an average of 4/5 in EN ?This reply has been marked as private.Ok, so when Upgrading a listing (by paying $$$), does the user need to technically upgrade both listings, or is it done simultaneously? (I understand that I can always manually upgrade the other associated listing in the other language)
This reply has been marked as private.By simultaneously, I mean that if a user claims a listing then changes the info (adds pictures, contact info, etc…), he should only have to do it once for all languages. Instead, what I am seeing, is that each language has its own post ID for the listing, and each post is therefore modified by itself.
For the link & credentials, I have a programmer trying to figure things out for the moment, so I’ll wait a bit before sharing it here (so he doesn’t get confused in his work process)
Amazing ! Thank you
It would help me if someone could direct me to the GD search function (that calls for the “no listings found” translation)
Thanks,
I mean the GD Search page, so I’ll have to translate it.
Are shortcodes accepted in translations?Note that the above plugin does not do the full job.. it’s just to give a direction to our dear developers 😉
Hey guys,
So here’s what I found. The problem seems to come from the WP comment functions.
If you inject the comment directly into wp_comments (through PHPmyadmin), it won’t work.
However, if you create a page and use the wp_new_comment() function, it works ! You can then retrieve the comment_id and directly inject the review into wp_geodir_post_review.Cheers !
YAYes, all tools were run. I’ll keep looking and let you know if I figure anything out.
Also, please note that the review is appearing the GD Admin area
Interestingly, the comment added directly through the DB seems to account for the “Overall review”, as can be seen in the Details page sidebar (based on 2 reviews)
But only one comment (the one added through the front-end) appears.
