Just as a heads up the error was there prior to testing the timezone. I didnt realize change the timezone would cause the need to import the listings. I simply changed and put it back. But again the error was there prior to me doing this. It was showing correct, and then at times it didnt. I dont know why this was the case and will continue to watch this to be sure it continues to feed correct.
yes. As mentioned I have a dropdown showing the correct city (which could only be allowed with multi cites)
I was able to locate the bottom map shortcode and have corrected. In setting up the details template how can I remove section B in your page example?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/details/
The example references this:
B. Supreme Directory theme Page Template Details Info area (GD Post Title, GD Post Address, GD Post Badge)But the below page code doesnt show this reference as listed here:
[gd_notifications]
[gd_single_taxonomies]
[gd_single_tabs]
[gd_single_next_prev]

It says the template should never be linked to directly. This is why I thought I needed to create a page to link through. Perhaps other wording that is less confusing could be used to prevent others from making the same error.
After going into the CPT event / settings to look at the defaults again, I was able to see why I was confused. The line item showed GD Archive Template, so I thought it was the correct template. Once I went to edit it I could see it was pulling from the page template I corrected. I have since deleted those pages after setting event to the correct place to avoid any future confusion.
The 3 CPT defaults are all now showing on each template page line item correctly.
I still feel like I am missing something.
If I understand correctly each CPT will use the corresponding GD template which can be found on the WP Page listings. I can edit there. The page attributes should be set to default (the dropdown here can be confusing as I am not understanding how they corrolate together, if at all).
The GD settings / general / page / should show the corresponding GD template files. I could also edit the template from here. The view default contens shows the origial before changes if I want to set back. In settings / Design / archive should be set to default.
If I want to overide the default template I will do this through the CTP settings. Right now each of the CPT are set to the corresponding default templates.
So far so good right?
Here is my confusion. When looking at the page listings sorted by GD, I see the default template page with both default (this is my listings category) and place templates stated on the same line. Previously I had set a page which I named GD Event Archive (I did this for both Events and Places for each template item). To avoid confusion after setting back up to original default page, I have renamed the pages I created to RMV (short for remove), and set them to draft as I wasnt sure if deleting them would cause issues. Under these old pages it is still showing in line the GD template (event). The correct templates show only for default (individual listings), and place, not for event. I have attached 2 screen shots to show what I mean.
Also, for some reason the CPT pages are showing maps on the sidebar (which is correct) and below the CPT. I know I did this last night while attempting to edit a template, but now can not figure out where this is pulling from. I looked thru the widgets and it isnt there. While editing the template by going throught the wp page list, I am not finding the short code that is bringing this in.
To clarify, I will only use the default templates unless I create my own php template following this process and then choosing from the CPT page dropdown? last screen shot.

I have attempted to correct through the page template and am not getting anywhere. Each of my categories have separate page templates. This one continues to be an issue. Please advise.
I have attached some screen shots for you to review.
The second screenshot shows me attempting the full width layout, however I have tried each without any success.June 5, 2019 at 1:15 am in reply to: listing detail full page with no map shows blank map area #490895This reply has been marked as private.June 4, 2019 at 1:33 am in reply to: listing detail full page with no map shows blank map area #490706This reply has been marked as private.June 3, 2019 at 4:38 am in reply to: listing detail full page with no map shows blank map area #490519This reply has been marked as private.June 3, 2019 at 3:00 am in reply to: listing detail full page with no map shows blank map area #490512This reply has been marked as private.June 3, 2019 at 2:34 am in reply to: listing detail full page with no map shows blank map area #490510This reply has been marked as private. -
