I would prefer a setting where I can:

– deactivate any automatic default location selection
– activate automatic default city selection
– activate automatic default region selection

And when I select any Region or City in location switcher manually, this settings should never automatically change, unless I change the switcher again manually.

Another issue:
GeoDirectory > Settings > Locations: Enable selected cities

This setting doesnt have any impact on location switcher, is this correct? I still can select any city in location switcher, but I limited the cities.
Would be better like this: only the selected cities can be selected in location switcher too.
