Currently we do some cropping and compression via JS before server upload, this will change in GDv2 and you will be able to use the standard hooks and probably even some image compression plugins also.

Unfortunately our crop process is not hookable just now as its done via JS.

I think OSM just interprites it better.
This is not really the intended use for the street address input, but if you ping me next week i will take a look at it again in GDv2.

With Google maps whatever you enter in the street address has the rest of the info taged on,

so if u enter “123.123,321.321”, that is not what is sent to Google, it will be “123.123,321.321, Glasgow, Strathclyde, GB”

Why are u specifically using GPS co-ordinates and do you expect your customers to use them?

You can start adding info with GDv1, once GDv2 is out of beta there will be a conversion process, the biggest changes will be with the widget areas, you will just have to move a few widgets about.

1. Most likely this feature will be removed/replaced with a easier share feature.

2. GDv2 will give you much more control over emails and what is sent, though i would imagine this is just something you would have to add to your site T&Cs.

I don’t see any obvious reason for it..
Both GD and Whoop will be getting a revamp soon, i’ll do more testing while thats being done.
