The first link is not a link to a user profile, if you have Yoast installed that might be the problem if you have user archives turned off?
Yes you can create a user for me and post it here and tick the “set as private reply” and only staff will be able to see it.

It is a service installed on most servers: http://php.net/manual/en/intro.curl.php
Just tell your host/server admin that you are having problems CURL’ing to facebook.

No, it also searches tags and categories, this is a good thing, i am not sure why anyone would want to disable that, i don’t even think we have a hook to disable it 🙂
