(Sorry i replied earlier but i think i was logged out when i tried to post it.)
The problem was your plugin “admin custom login” in the settings you have a setting ”
Redirect Users other than Admin” this url did not have the https:// prefix entered, i added it and now it works. Thanks,
Stiofan
Adrian,
I had to do this because GD support does not stretch to showing how to display country specific widgets using Widget Logic on geolocated (Near Me) search result pages.
There is no location set when doing this kind of search, i have explained the problems several times. The search results page might include results from several countries and you want to just specify one, logically what you want will not work, its nothing to do with the product.
There are ways to get the closest country and i gave you the code, just because it might not work with widget logic that is not a failing of our product, what you want is 100% a customisation, if it was easy we would have provided it, it requires customisation which we do not provide, you are punishing us for not providing it which is not appreciated.

This is more of a general WP API question that might be better asked in their forums.
There are many ways i can think of but perhaps they have a standard way of doing it.Thanks,
Stiofan
I will turn on debugging and be editing some of our own plugin files to run some tests, FTP access to the website main files will do, its not system logs just WP ones.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Please link to what page, and what links/buttons to press to login in/out, i can’t recreate this with the normal supreme login box.

Hi Caroline,
Maybe loading smaller images there would help, GD>Design>listings>Listing image size
Let us know if that helps.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I would suggest making a coming soon listing and assigning it to all ur empty categories, i did that when i was starting a site.
Thanks,
Stiofan
This reply has been marked as private. If you have any problems with the Code snippets plugin just let us know, if anything it would likely just be a wrong hook used 🙂
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Dean,
Just from reading the topic, and you having 43k+ listings and only a shared server, this would be my guess of where the problem is. Wen you add a listing it has to rebuild the listing counts for each category/location, with so many listings my guess is that is where the problem is.
Where are u based and whats ur budget, maybe we can recommend a hosting solution.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I had replied here about the website thing, not sure if u seen it: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/problem/page/2/#post-391108
For the spelling mistake, not doubt that was me 🙂 but i’m not sure what you mean by the “capture plugin”?
Thanks,
Stiofan
In your header.php i made one small change
trim( $_GET['s']to
isset( $_GET['s']If you upgrade the theme you would have to make this change or let us know and we will do it.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Alex,
I too see it a bit inconsistent, i have never seen this before, can you please provide FTP details and i will debug it.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Glenn,
Firstly thanks for your kind words about the team, its very much appreciated 🙂
For the website inputs, in 98% of cases the www. is not needed, its total surplus, its the http:// that is needed.
You have a couple of options, you could edit the field under GD>Place Settings>Website>Frontend Description, here you could explain the http is required like “You can enter your business or listing website, please include the http:// part”
Or if you wanted you could add a snipped of code to place a message in the actual input like “https://example.com”Thanks,
Stiofan
Thanks for the info, the problem is resolved if i disable the plugin “easy-custom-sidebars” it must be a conflict of some sort, i am not familiar with that plugin. (i have reactivated it for now)
Thanks,
Stiofan
