What would have happened if I had 5K places listed…whould I had to enter and re-save each location?!?
That’s why, please tell me what’s wrong, what caused this in order to prevent in the future.
Please read the thread so you can see what did I do in the last few days:
– updated GD plugin and addons
– deactivated BuddyPress
– activated Super Socializer plugin
– modified the pages order and one name in the main menuthank you,
VladHi Kiran,
Thanks for your remark. These locations used to work until now. I have a few questions:
1. Why did a number automaticaly show up in the url -> please see in another screenshot attached below
2. What caused this? Because I want to prevent this in the future.
3. If I do a restore of the website from a week ago, will I lose my new user and their reviews?Hi guys,
any news?
those cannot be unchecked so I made a new full admin user, see credentials above.
Thanks,
VladThis reply has been marked as private.I did save the WP permalinks. Still the same.
I already gave you administrator credentials, but it is automatically limited to: see the screenshot.
Please recommend me a differnet way to offer super admin credentials.
Saturday, on the 22nd of April, I modified the name of 2 pages in the main menu. And today I uninstalled BuddyPress plugin and I installed another plugin, Super Socializer.
Do you think any of these might have impacted the URLs? If so, I will make a restore from a couple of days ago, though I might lose my new users and my new reviews. But I will do it, because now, this is a serious issue for me.
If you want you can verify. Please search for a specific place: “Authentic” See the result, try to access it, and see what it shows -> Not Found This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
Hi,
Yes as far as I know, I did update them all. Though I still have a pop up that tells me “The plugin WP Easy Updates is required to check for and update some installed plugins, please install it now.”
This reply has been marked as private.Unfortunately, now I can definetly see by myself 🙂
Anyway, thanks for your help in making me understand.
All the best,
Vladnot the best suggestion for me, but thank you anyway!
I will go back to GD Booster 🙂Have a great day Stiofan,
VladThis reply has been marked as private.even though now I cannot see my new listings on the home page, if I search them in the website I see them, but please take a look at how they now look like 😐
(see the screenshot attached)Hi Stiofan, I’m back :))
I installed Autoptimize, I deactivated GD Booster and now I just listed 2 new places, they do appear as listed from my admin front end, BUT they are not visible when I access the website from front-end when I am not registered.
I flushed the cache, still they don’t appear as visible. When I used GD Booster, after each new listing made I had to clear the cache from GD Booster in order for my listings to be visible. Now I can;t do this anymore sincer I no longer have GD Booster. Why is this happening?
Vlad
I just installed it. Hope it helps.
thanks Stiofan!
