great!
Thank you!
All the best!Update:
I increased the PHP memory limit from 128 to 256 and now all the issues seem to be gone. I can see that I can increase it up to 512 (out of 2Gb). But I don’t know how this will impact everything, so I set it to 256.
It seems everything is ok now.
When I activated Autoptimize and followed your instructions regarding the settings that you recommend, I noticed that on #5 and #13 I had to remove the default settings as follows:
Exclude scripts from Automptimize: wp-includes/js/dist/, wp-includes/js/tinymce/, js/jquery/jquery.js
and
Exclude CSS from Autoptimize: wp-content/cache/, wp-content/uploads/.
Can you please tell me if it is ok to remove them, or should I put them back along with your suggestions?
Thank you!
Hi Kor,
I just checked the errors in cPanel; there are lots of them only for today after activating Autoptimize.
All of them start with:
Backend fatal error: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhaustedand they all continue with different links like:
– wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/
– wp-includes/functions.php
– wp-content/plugins/invoicing/
– wp-includes/class-wp-user.phpThese are just examples, but there are so many of them, and also for each of the ones above
Would it be helpful if you checked?
Hi Alex,
thank you for your reply!
I understand what you say now; but shouldn’t the performance and the speed improve since I now have a server with bigger resources?
That’s what I understood from what you said in another ticket in October – see screenshot attached.
Hello guys, Vlad here from theBeautyAdviser.com
Hope you and your beloved ones are safe in these times.
Regarding the topic I opened in this ticket in February, I just finished all the migration process in order to improve my website speed performance.
Just as you suggested, I now have a dedicated hosting server with 1 CPU and 2GB RAM. No more shared hosting.
Still, 72 hours after the migration is complete, I have similar performance results as before, with shared hosting. See screenshots “performance before” and “performance now”.
I thought website performance & speed will considerabily be improved after this migration.
Can you please help me with this one? What to do now? Better equipment, same (or worse) results.
I highly appreciate; thank you!
Hi Kor,
thanks a lot for your reply!
I will make sure I meet the necessary requirements.
All the best,
VladHi Kiran,
#1. I tried several times with both iOS & Android; could not replicate. I will come back if this happens again and if I have more info.
#2. Great!
Thank you for your support!
VladHi Alex,
#1. understood; if your team finds out something, please let me know.
#2. I don’t want a forever free listing package; I want to set the expire date of the listings to “never to expire” – see screenshot.
Previously, in V1 this whould be done by writing “0” or “never” if I recall.
Hi Kiran,
thank you! Is it ok if I write back if this happens again in the future?
Hi Alex, thank you for your reply!
Indeed this was my opinion also Alex; until Friday, when I saw with my own eyes when she selected 5 stars, wrote a short comment, checked the captcha, and clicked on publish review. And it registered as a reply comment..
I understand it is quite hard to replicate, but I did not write this email in the last few months, before seing this happen with my own eyes.
Hint: this person used a Huawei mobile device and most of my users appear to be using Android phones; primarily Samsung, then Huawei. Maybe this helps.
#2. please don’t forget about my second question
Hello again 🙂
Vlad from thebeautyadviser.comThe search issue is back – it appeared just after GD update – 2h ago maybe.
Cleared the site cache, cleared browser’s cache, search function still not working – see screenshot attached
You can replicate the issue by going to thebeautyadviser.com and search for “Tribute” .
Can you help please?
Thank you,
VladHi Kiran,
Thanks a lot for your so fast reply!
After the updates I cleared the cache for the website and it did not work.
Now, after your reply, I cleared also the browser cache and it now works fine.Thank you!
VladHello again 🙂
Vlad from thebeautyadviser.comI just made the GD updates, and wanted to check if everything is ok afterwards. It seems the search issue is back.
When I try to search on my homepage any listing from my website it turns no results – you can replicate the issue by going to thebeautyadviser.com and search for “Tribute” or “Abstract” let’s say.
If I access any archive page I can see the listings, but no listing shows up on search page.
Can you help please?
Thank you,
VladHi Kor,
thanks! I’ll use a snippet.
Have a great day!
VladHi Kiran!
thanks a lot!
Anything I have to do to prevent this from happening in the future?
