@pdqdigitalmedia you are truly showing your ignorance and inexperience. This is not even our support forum or site, how would we of even seen this when you created it? If you actually read our reply, you will see that we “stumbled” upon it.

Your attitude and comments are extremely disrespectful, and are clearly untrue. We’re pretty sure it’s obvious to anyone reading this that they will agree.

    Best to you.

Thanks Paolo! We were not aware of that about GeoDirectory and W3TC. Definitely good info, I’ll make this a sticky note to our support team with a link to the GD Booster plugin page so we can help point our joint customers in the right direction.

    Cheers!

    Hello Everyone!

We stumbled across this thread and find the OP’s message untrue and quite appalling.

We trust that anyone who has come across this thread knows that the comments are untrue and spoken by someone out of frustration by the simple fact Avada has been the #1 selling theme for over 3 years now. Obviously, the negative comments made about it are untrue, or Avada would not continue to excel.

Nevertheless, we will address them. Let’s see …

However, had I found this article PRIOR to purchase, trust me .. I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT!

That article is not telling the full truth and it’s main goal is to get you to signup for optimization services. Why is it untrue? Because we do not even use Cloudfare, you can inspect our site to see that is true. We only use W3TC, there are no hidden smoke and mirrors going on, the article is a push for customers who have very poor hosting environments and are looking to increase speed. Any site needs optimized on the customers end, things like servers and their configurations play a huge part in a sites performance, more so then a theme would.

Their support for their flawed product is also worthy of the nasty toilet award. THEY ARE THE WORST!

This is truly absurd. Our support is top notch and one of the main reasons why our customers love and keep using Avada. Our overall average of 5 star rating proves this. A product does not get over 10,000 ratings with an average of 5 stars if their support is flawed.

I checked your support account to see if there were some issues and to be honest, I found none. You have over 14 tickets open, each has been replied to with a solution, and the most recent one was from the last 24 hours, which means you are still using Avada.

They have not taken ownership of one single issues related to this theme .. not one.

I find this one even more interesting. It is a very broad statement which is hard to address without a specific issue. But in general it is easily proven untrue. Simply look at our theme updates that come out ever 5 weeks, each one has new features, improvements and any bug fixes that are needed. Why do we do that? We do that to address and fix issues that are reported from our 160K+ user base.

The two fully loaded in combination load over 3,000 lines of code in the head — THREE THOUSAND! Resulting in an average page load time of over 60 seconds — ridiculous!

This is an example of not knowing how Avada works. You do not have the PHP compiler turned on which compiles all of that code into one single file, problem solved.

In addition, if your site is taking 60 seconds to load, you have some serious issues with your ISP or Hoster, not the theme.

Their write-up on Theme Forest boast of such extraordinary page load times — it is all a big fat lie! What they forgot to mention is how much they had to “doctor” the demo up in order to get those number.

There is no false advertising going on here, you can clearly see the speeds on our own demos, which are real sites by the way. I feel you have a big misunderstanding about site speed and setup. First off, the ONLY thing we do is use a cache plugin called W3TC, there is no extra “doctoring” besides making sure your content is optimized.

You call it “doctoring” a site, but what you fail to realize is that any theme or site you use should be “doctored” to get optimum performance. regardless of what theme you use, you should always make sure your content (images/graphics) are optimized. You should always use a cache plugin as well, like W3TC. And you should never use a poor host, do a little research to understand what “shared hosting” is and the limitations it presents.

Doctoring a site is actually called “Optimizing a site” and should be done with any theme you use.

And for the love of God — do not add any real content to your site, page load times triple.

This is confusing, what is your definition of “real content”. I assume images, plugins, etc? That is exactly what we use on our demos, all the content is “real”. If you are referring to the “lorem ipsum” text then there may be a bigger misunderstanding here then I originally expected.

Just My Personal Experience & I fully stand by every single word!

This is what is most important to us, we wish every personal experience to be stellar, and we work extremely hard to make this happen. As we all know, that is nearly impossible for a product to achieve, but that does not deter us. Anything we can improve upon, we do. Our team works tirelessly in making our customer base happy, and we’re very proud of the last 3 years and looking forward to many more.

Lastly, we’d like to say that our support staff is always open for any questions or comments you have. We take great pride in helping our customers.

We hope this helps anyone reading it better understand the comments made.

    Best to everyone
    Team ThemeFusion
