I came to ask the exact same thing, although what you’re saying makes sense it also doesn’t!

If you do not know that you can lock a particular field you would enter info about the main listing only….etc

When a user creates a new listing via the add listing form they should ONLY add info relevant to the MAIN listing. They would then scroll down, see they can lock the fields and only lock the ones that are relevant to the franchises they are going to add.

I may of misunderstood but why would it ever make sense for them to create a listing with ONLY the franchise relevant info?

The current way opens it up for confusion.
As a user sees they can lock fields and so they end up only adding information they want on all listings.

Due to the way the add-listing form/prices and payments works and how different people utilise GD I think the way forward is to leave it as is (most people use the add listing links and so what your saying makes sense, where as i (and others already have) intend on creating a page with links to different listings which will make it confusing at the top of the page..)

If this could be done with hooks that would be good!

If i set my listing as one month free and then a recurring payment of 5.00 for 12 months with stripe at the top, and then set the franchise option price as 2.50 what exactly is the process?

Would the user get 1 month free, then be charged 5+2.50= 7.50 every month (for 12 months?)

Once I’ve added a listing with fields locked etc how do i then add a franchise from the front end?
Also, should there be an option in pricing and payments?

The only option i have found is in gd->general, but further than that i dont know..
I too would like to know how to configure it!
