Thanks very much, Kiran. The category default images are now appearing. I shall follow your instruction above to set the images for another CPT, and let you know if any issues.
Also, can you let me know where is the patch you have put on the site, and will i need to do something when GD is updated?
thanks, Vivek

thanks, Vivek
Thanks, Alex – i think i misunderstood how the button functioned. got it now- thanks very much!
Thanks, Alex. I have a custom text field for “additional_information” and want to ensure that any links inserted there are nofollow , or else be able to disallow links in that field- is there any way to do that?
Not quite, it seems…So, while the category images are showing correctly as the default images in the category page and the category listing, however they are strangely not showing up in the post_images fallback order. [ these category images were uploaded in uploads/2019/07/filename.jpg; and the category import file had filename.jpg as you had suggested]
However, if the default image is uploaded manually/individually from the admin category page ,then it shows properly in the fallback order.Any clue why this may be happening? Is it an image resizing issue as i dont see multiple sizes of these images having been created in teh uploads/2019/07 folder?
Thanks Alex- that worked perfectly!

VivekThis reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. Thanks, Kiran – yes i am using [gd_post_meta key=”image_test”] in the detail hero image becuse there i do not want to have fallback in case user does not upload an image.
However in archive item i DO want the fallback in case user has not uploaded an image,so i am using [gd_post_images types=”image_test”] – that shortcode triggers fallback in case custom field is empty
(further i also tried [gd_post_meta key=”post_images” show =’value”], but that does not output anything)But my issue here is not with Archive item, as the GD archive and GD search page are ok. My issue is about setting image_test as the ‘featured image” for wordpress search results.
thanks, Vivek
Thanks, Alex. I do want to have the GD listings (along with BP activity, blog posts etc) in the WP search, so do not want to remove these. I am also limiting the image count to 1.
However, if there is no way to show the “image_test’ as the Featured Image, then I shall just have to live with showing the listings without the images in the WP search.
thanks, Vivek
