Hi Guust & Stiofan,
I have used the import/export function to enable the category setup with its icons. The images are correct available within media library and work proper on wordpress core categories to be managed.
When it comes to gd usage and looking into the icon url of category in use, then you are right. There is mixture of link within the url of two urls together. Either the link with “wci” or without “wci” in image url works, but a mixture of course not.

URL – https://www.worldcheckin.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=gd_placecategory&post_type=gd_placeI have now tried following:
1. renamed domain URL from https://www.worldcheckin.com to http://www.worldcheckin.com again by using the script. Then again renamed back to “https”
2. exported e.g. place category to see image url which has no problems in it and uploaded again for testing.RESULT:
Still the same problem of URL mixture within icon url.CONCLUSION:
Within database there in NO mixture of domain found. So no changing is needed within database. It seems to me that gd interpret the icon url different as they are presented within database. Or may the import/export function does make any incorrect changes. Please be also aware that we have here a multisite with sub-directory installation. Core dicrectory is “/public_html/wci” which forward via httaccess to “/public_html/wci/wci.ms”
Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards, Alex
Hi Guust,
NO – I have used a script called “Database Search and Replace Script in PHP” and replaced then http://www.worldcheckin.com to https://www.worldcheckin.com
Within database there is no problem of mixing urls like “https://www.worldcheckin.com/wp-content/imageshttps:/www.worldcheckin.com/wci/wp-content/images”

Not sure why this is only caused within gd categories,
because on usual post categories trying to implement images there is no issue…Regards, Alex
Here some more screen shots
URL image double – http://screencast.com/t/oIWrrBYV6Ri3
Cat icon not shown – http://screencast.com/t/VxvcyWxB5While checking the url by category export the icon url seems proper

Any other suggestions?Regards, Alex
Hi Guust,
thank you for your clarification. Well the settings of language default is ENGLISH. So I do not know why the location was saved as ./sachsen/. instead of ./saxony/. which is the english version of region name. So I deleted in Geodirectory > MultiLocations > Manage Location the double entry.
Hope this will solve the problem…
Thanks, Alex

December 10, 2015 at 11:08 am in reply to: Warning: fgets(): SSL geodir_payment_providers.php on line 456 #63179Hi Paolo,
I have changed now to sandbox paypal settings within price and payment, to just checking the link URLs if they are working after SSL Certificate integration with redirect from http to https.
But still the problem there that the URL is giving a failure php message:
URL: https://www.worldcheckin.com/?pay_action=ipn&pmethod=paypalWarning: fgets(): SSL: Connection reset by peer in /home/…/wp-content/plugins/geodir_payment_manager/geodir_payment_providers.php on line 456

Am I/we in need to change something here?

Hi Guust,
even now I have added more listings, but for actual non existing locations and after acceptance of location detection like “leipzig” I always get a Epic 404 – article not found browser message.
URL: https://www.worldcheckin.com/location/germany/sachsen/leipzig/
Screen Shot: http://screencast.com/t/KeQ3ItAfxThis should not happen… It would better be like “no article for this location available”
Or choose everywhere location for articles…Please advice, Alex
