Thanks Paolo, I truncated the three tables you mentioned (WP_POSTS, WP_POSTMETA and WP_GEODIR_GD_PLACE_DETAILS), the GD started without any places/listings, which’s great.
then, I tried to import some new places/listings, and imported it successfully.
but when I opened up the site, It redirected me to a listing and it always redirect me to that place/listing and I don’t see anything special with that listing.so I redid the same process above, and the same issue appeared, it redirected to a listing.
must be something simple I missed, but could not figure out where, if you can help, that will be great.
Thank yoy
Hi Kor, I tried it by resetting all tables provided and I got all kinds of errors, but all got fixed once I reinstalled GD, and restored the database back again. so all back to what it was.
by the way, is any other ways to just remove the listings?
If I were to remove just some I could simply go to PLACES in GD, but I need to remove like thousands of listings, if I use database reset tool, It reset all the site configuration as well, so I have to reconfigure the GD again.Thank you much Kor
Thank you much Kor Chung for the info.
it tried it but did not work, the slug probably gets populated only when the new data is uploaded, if existing data is edited, it does not get updated either which I think it should. please let me know if there are other ways I can try to get slug data mass updated.
Otherwise, if I need to delete then reload, If you could, please provide some recommendation how I mass delete data lets say I just need to delete some data like from 2000 to 3000. Thanks a million for the help.
but I have like a thousand of them 🙂 I thought there was like a reset button where the slug can get repopulated.
However when you can edit the listing by reuploading the data using the same post_id, the slug I would think should get updated.Thank you.
Thank you much Guust, John
that worked, thank you much Kor Chung.
Johnbtw, this case can be closed, thanks Guust
it has not been fixed, I still have the same issue ever after I added .htaccess file as shown above, it is very weird, Paolo, any other places I should check? Thanks
not really transferring their data, but just calling their API to feed GD’s reviews, it seems to me that’s doable, but I might be missing something here, if you said that’s not possible
This reply has been marked as private.I tried it and put the .htaccess file in the root folder for wordpress where it has wp-admin, etc.
but it did not work, any other places that I should check? Thanks much. This reply has been marked as private.Hi Paolo, is the API released being delayed? Thanks.
Hi Guust, I installed both the GD Framework and GD Framework Child theme but the child one is the active one. and I went to GDF options to make color changes.
I checked and gave the style.css file full write access under the GeoDirectory_framework-child folder but that did not work.
then I tried give write access to the style.css under the GD Framework, it did not work either.I agree with you it must be a simple writable issue, which style.css or other files that I need to give write access/664 to ? so I can change the color of like footer, header, etc.
if that still does not work then I would desperately need your help to check the site, but I will do my best first, Thank you. -
