1. I purchased the Google Maps add-on but when you land on the “gd-home” page, the Atlanta pin (right bottom) is not visible due to the box that is covering it. See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/w5GBxuxCog
Would it be possible to “zoom out” twice, so the initial view for visitors looks like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/hm88y1K1i2. When I uploaded some pictures for one of the places I noticed that some pictures are being displayed upside-down. See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/rkFZlkHZZ
Since I don’t see that these images are going into the WP Media library, I was wondering how I could correct this?3. I have not found it yet, but is there a way to turn OFF the rankings (the *****) for each place, and the tab for the “reviews” and “related listing”?
4. Generic question: if people add new listings, do they automatically get added OR is there a way to only add them when we “approve” it?
thank you, Rene
November 22, 2018 at 9:15 pm #455520Hi,
1. You didn’t need it that add-on that is only needed to change the maps colors. You can set the zoom of your maps manually depending on how you added them, via widget options or shortcode parameters. However, the map zooms out auotmatically to include all your pins and you have only 2 very far away from each other. If you start adding listings in other locations, the problem will most likely disappear, while the fixed zoom will create problems.
2. Which one would be upside down? I see everything correctly on that screenshot (providing a link instead of screenshot is a lot better to get support)
3. please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-disable-reviews/ also in design settings of the detail page you have options to hide tabs.
4. you can moderate them, option to do so is in Design > Listings > Listing General Settings > New listing default status
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Please allow me to answer your remaining questions.
1. You can do this in the Widgets as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#homepage
2. Yes, you just need to set your replies as private and only Gd staffs will able to see it.
3. You can refer to this article that explains how you can customize the styling via CSS https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

Thanks for your reply. I’m glad that you sorted out the “Permalink” issue. For your second request, you can possibly achieve this using a “membership plugin”. Try “s2membership plugin”
January 2, 2019 at 2:52 am #461024If you are intent on not allowing visitors to add listings, you can do that easily.
Simply visit the settings at:
GD – Design – Navigation
Adjust the options to disallow adding posts from the frontend, and also remove links to visitors don’t stumble on to them.
The Admin can always add listings from the backend. Just click on the plus sign in the admin bar for “+, Add Place” and you can always add a listing that way.
