I would like to add a country to GeoDirectory.

Tried to import a listing for Saint Martin in the Caribbean and noticed that it did not create a country for Saint Martin, but placed the listing in the United States (default location). I can add regions and cities, but not country.

I know that the island of Saint Martin is a commune of France. But most people in the US would not know to look in France for a commune in the Caribbean. So I would like to add it manually as a country, so it will show on searches as Saint Martin, not in France.

I can not seem to add it manually using GeoDirectory > MultiLocation > Add/Edit Locations. And any import of the record places it into the US.

So how do I add a country into GeoDirectory when it does not appear on the drop-down list.

    Thanks

    Hello,

when I add a listing in Saint Martin I see the country of Anguilla, which is also incorrect, re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Martin .

Though the region says Collectivity of Saint Martin

However, these results are coming from Google, and we aren’t in control of that.

It is generally difficult to add listings on an ongoing basis with a different country for listings, and we do not recommend that approach.

To add a Location, simply add a listing in that location. You can then export the listings and set all the listings to the same region, country, and city.
