Hi, I updated an old site to V2 and added the Add Listing link through Menu, Geodirectory options, add Listing, but link is broken, /add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place, do I have to update settings somewhere, I looked in WordPress, Settings, permalinks and did not see anything there
December 25, 2018 at 7:28 pm #459929My Add Listing Page has this:
[gd_notifications]
[gd_add_listing]December 25, 2018 at 7:44 pm #459930I just realized my Listing Details are not showing either
permalinks are set to
/%category%/%postname%/
and the url shows slug/category/postname, but is blank pageDecember 25, 2018 at 9:13 pm #459936This shortcode works to display Listings, but if I click a Listing goes to blank page
[gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” layout=4 category=”115″ post_number=”35″ list_sort=”high_review”]December 25, 2018 at 10:30 pm #459942The add listing page should have [gd_add_listing]
The menu links have not changed, but they can be added again using the Setup Wizard: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/setup/
Did you leave out any steps in the conversion? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convert
You can try adjusting permalinks, making them more complex. Make sure you are running the latest V2, a new change makes the category base required.
The gd_listings shortcode has at least one bad param. Try recreating it. If there are issues with permalinks they will cause links to listings to go 404.
If we need to check the settings please include WP Admin in a private reply.

December 27, 2018 at 5:36 pm #460184Hi, Yes, I now have Details showing and add Listing, but I think there is still a core issue that I cant identify, I clicked the link notification to set woocommerce as default , I have Pricing Manager installed but the link took me to blank page. So I reviewed the V2 docs and see that I am missing tabs in my Settings, Like Pricing and locations, not sure if others are missing because I am still trying to familiarize myself with V2, https://www.screencast.com/t/ydlt6f89et my setup, and screenshot from docs V2 https://www.screencast.com/t/ydlt6f89et
December 27, 2018 at 6:37 pm #460194Sorry i put same screenshot twice, this is the second one V2 docs screenshot with all tabs showing, https://www.screencast.com/t/d1dvdya9zwH7

December 28, 2018 at 1:38 pm #460301The trouble is the Plugin Organizer, we have disabled it for now. Do not activate again or it will break the menu again. Kiran has had a good look and there does not seem to be any obvious fix.
December 28, 2018 at 10:27 pm #460375This is very bad news for me, my site load time without wprocket and Plugin Organizer went from 2 seconds to 6.5. Do you think my developer could possibly find the problem, I had plugin Organizer running fine on V1.
