Hi — I’m a new wp-geo user, so go easy on me. 😉

I’d like to add a new field to the form — here are the questions I have for this:

    1. Can the form handle conditional logic? Such as, if user checks box as YES, then other options appear that can get checked?

    2. Can listings be made to automatically rank above other listings based on whether that box is checked YES?

    3. If that box is checked YES, can I use PIN ICON for those places that are marked YES? If so, could I assign a specific PIN ICON for each of the other sub-options, as well (see 1 above)?

    4. Can this field be utilized as a filter option for ADVANCED SEARCH add-on?

    Hi,

    1) unfortunately not, GeoDirectory doesn’t support conditional fields.

    2) Not without a customization. Only featured listings will rank above normal listings.

    3) Map pins are linked to categories. Not to specific listings

    4) Yes you can.

    Thanks

Okay, thanks… maybe you can help me figure out a way to do this…

I would like certain Places to rank higher than others. I assume this could be done if one is a paying Place and another is not, so I would assume it would be a matter of putting them in a membership group plan, such as A and B — so that those in A would rank above those in B?

That said, I don’t want to charge for either plan — but if it is one kind of Place, I want it in A and if it is another, B.

    Hello!

You can take this as an example https://wpgeodirectory.com/how-to-sort-listings-by-price/
